DWI Program Options

DWI Services
ADETS
(Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School)

ADETS is a 16-hour program offered once monthly. This class is for clients that haven't had a prior DWI charge with a blood alcohol reading of .14 or less, and didn't refuse the Breathalyzer. Also, clients that do not have a substance use disorder. 


If you’ve been charged with a DWI, ADETS is often the first required step in meeting court or DMV requirements. We make the process simple, convenient, and supportive.

Program Length:

16 hours total - offered monthly with flexible scheduling

Cost:

$160 program fee + $25 Prime for Life workbook

Please Bring the Following:

$100 Assessment Fee (required by North Carolina law)

Breathalyzer (BAC) results, if available

Copy of your citation or ticket

Current driving record

Please note: There may be an additional fee if the agency is required to obtain and retain a copy
of your driving record on your behalf.


If you do not have your documentation, you can request copies from your local County Courthouse or appropriate agency prior to your appointment.

Short-Term Outpatient Treatment (20–39 Hours)

Duration:

Approximately 30–45 days

Cost:

$25 per hour

Format:

Available via telehealth or in-person

Longer-Term Outpatient Treatment (40–89 Hours)

Duration:

Approximately 60–90 days

Cost:

$25 per hour

Format:

Available via telehealth or in-person

Out-of-State Residents with North Carolina DWI Charges

To restore your driving privileges in North Carolina, you are required to complete a substance use assessment along with any recommended education or treatment services.

 

If you completed your assessment or services outside of North Carolina, they must still be reviewed and approved by a licensed North Carolina DWI provider to ensure they meet state requirements.

 

All Walks of Life LLC is a state-authorized North Carolina DWI service provider.

We will:

Review your out-of-state assessment and documentation

Ensure all requirements meet North Carolina standards

Process and finalize your case

Complete and submit your Certificate of Completion (e-508 form)

This process helps resolve your outstanding DWI requirement with the state of North Carolina.


You will also receive a copy of your Certificate of Completion for your personal records.

Once we receive all required documents, our team will promptly submit your E-508 form to the state on your behalf—taking the stress off your shoulders.


Processing by the state typically takes 3 to 14 days. As soon as your information is reviewed and approved by the North Carolina DMV, the hold on your license will be cleared.
